Terms and Conditions

These general terms and conditions of sale are intended for use when booking stays in cottages or guest rooms at Domaine de La Lipomerie - 61390 Gâprée - France. They constitute the booking contract between the owner, Ms. Anne-Emmanuelle Guillot, and the customer for a stay in a guest room or cottage. 

Length of stay

The customer rents accommodation for a fixed period and may not, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain in the premises. 

Rates

The prices shown include all taxes (the owner is not subject to VAT, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code).

 Confirmation of a reservation

 Reservations can be made by email, by phone directly with the owner, or on the website www.la-lipomerie.fr.
Reservations are only considered firm after receipt of a 50% deposit.
For all accommodation reservations, payment of a deposit implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.
The deposit and balance can be paid by check or bank transfer.

Balance payment

The balance must be paid to the owner no later than the last day of the stay, by check or bank transfer.
In the event of late cancellation (less than 15 days before the start of the stay), the deposit paid will be retained by the owner. 

Cancellation by the customer

Reservations made on the website can be canceled by email: contact@la-lipomerie.fr.
In the event of cancellation less than 15 days before the arrival date, the payment remains due to the owner.
In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the cost of accommodation remains fully due to the owner.
Any additional services used are payable to the owner.

Reservations can be modified upon request prior to arrival.
If the number of nights or guests ultimately exceeds the initial reservation, modifications can only be made with the owner's consent and if there is sufficient space to accommodate guests in appropriate conditions.
Failure to comply with this occupancy rule is grounds for termination of the stay by the owner without refund.

Arrival time

Arrivals are between the following times: 4pm and 8pm.
For any special requests, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Please let us know if you will be arriving after 8pm. 

Departure time

Accommodations must be vacated by 12:00 noon.
For any special requests, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

 Tourist tax

The amount of the tourist tax, a local tax collected by the municipality, is €1.20 per night per person.
It is not included in the price of the night.
It is collected at the end of the stay by the owner on behalf of the municipality and is then paid to the Public Treasury.

 Breakfast 

Breakfast is optional for guests staying at La Bergerie.
It is served in the house or in the garden between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m., unless otherwise requested.
Breakfast is not included in the price of cottage accommodation. 

Pets

Please contact us with any questions you may have about this when making your reservation.
If the guest arrives on the day of arrival with one or more animals without prior agreement, the stay may be canceled by the owner without this being considered a modification or breach of contract.
No refund will be given in this case. 

 Art of living, use of premises

All guests are asked to respect a certain lifestyle in order to ensure the tranquility of the place and the comfort of its guests.
Noisy parties or gatherings are not permitted.
The interior of the cottage and bedrooms is a completely non-smoking area.
Guests agree to leave the premises in perfect condition at the end of their stay and to report and pay for any damage for which they may be responsible.
The house is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Children may use the swimming pool under the full responsibility of their parents or guardians.

 Data protection 

In accordance with the law of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access and correct any data concerning you.
Domaine de La Lipomerie undertakes not to pass on the information you have provided to other companies or organizations. 
These terms and conditions of sale are subject to change at any time without notice.
Acceptance of and compliance with these general terms and conditions of sale are deemed to have been granted upon payment of the deposit.
